Sad, Drunk and Needy: Virtual Reality made some of us feel like that stronger than ever before. Crushes, simping, rejection, partying and jealousy. Digital queer love, as real and juicy as the analogue one! WHSPRS will be performing songs from his new album “Sad, Drunk and Needy”, including the VR-scene hit “Fox Boy”! The LP is heavily influenced by the fox' childhood in a landscape of 2000s pop, pop-punk and emo. Lyrics about almost teenage-like love struggles give insight into the VR artist’s chaotic lovelife and subsequently portraits the dating reality of a new generation of queer, tech-savy individuals who surf the wave of relationship issues on a new frontier of love: Virtual Reality.
